AuDITIONS - Gold Jewellery Design Competition

Gold has for centuries aroused passion as it has always been a rare and precious metal. Gold has drawn upon many facets of the culture of its people, and has in turn been an inspiration of majestic appeal to the wearer and the beholder. Its evocative appeal has encouraged innovative designers over the years to create unique jewellery.

World Gold Council (WGC) and AngloGold Ashanti (one of the largest gold mining companies in the world) as part of their joint commitment to product innovation and design excellence, are pleased to announce a pan-Indian design competition named AngloGold Ashanti AuDITIONS Gold Jewellery Design Competition 05/06.

The primary objective of this competition is to identify, recognize and motivate design talent; to bring about a range of contemporary designs in gold jewellery that appeal to the evolving mind-set of today's woman. The competition seeks to highlight design and manufacturing excellence that sustains and develops jewellery markets across India through design innovation.

AngloGold Ashanti AuDITIONS is the brand that houses all the jewellery design competitions being organized by AngloGold Ashanti worldwide.

The theme of the competition is "Ethno Contemporary". Entry is open to all designers (jewellery or any other design disciplines). The prize is worldwide recognition and up to 1 kg in solid gold.
